Senior SRE

The SRE’s mission is to reduce friction in the engineering process to make the developer experience as pleasant as possible while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and consistency. • We are looking for an experience candidate: 8+ years of experience as a SRE or DevOps practitioner
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• We use modern cloud native tools: experience with CI/CD frameworks, e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Proficient using Python in SRE areas
• Experience delivering high-availability web services on public cloud providers, ideally AWS, but also on-prem in complex Federal environments
• Deep experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience working with agility in a high-velocity environment
• Strong communication skills: verbally and written
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive a results-oriented culture
• Passionate about working on an early stage venture

• This is an excellent opportunity for a senior SRE to take ownership of a compelling platform getting significant growth and traction
• Define the strategy and technical direction for our software
• Ability to manage and deploy a modestly sized modern Kubernetes infrastructure
• Creating process and automation to improve the delivery of platform and improvement of Cloud Infrastructure utilization
• Engineers will write automated test but SRE will be responsible for final testing and green lighting final product as it is deployed for Federal customers on a weekly cadence
• Ability to ensure releases are well tested before release given this is a critical product that sits in customers CI/CD pipelines.
• Attend daily scrums and work closely with Dev Teams to achieve desired product objectives
• Own on-going maintenance and support of internal tools, improving system health and reliability
• Work as part of a multi-functional engineering team and enable yourself and others to build new features and software to grow our business
• Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams such as product management, marketing, and customer support teams to define, design and implement solutions
